Day 1 of Vlogtober/ Blogtober

I decided to participate in Vlogtober and Blogtober this year. My original idea was to break down my song lyrics and combine it with my current challenge that I am on day  17 with. That is my #keepit100withthyself challenge, where for 100 days I will release an original song from my 10-year span of music. As October 1st progressed, I thought of more ideas. As a result, I was editing until about 11:30 pm. I am not about to do that every day. So I took a walk and went with my original idea. Within an hour I shot and edited the new video.

Vlogtober/Blogtober Day 1: Expendable

In this video, I break down the meaning and thought process behind one of my crowd favorite song, Expendable.

This song shows up on my album, Graffiti The Mind, Produced entirely by Ruler Why.

DAY 4 OF 100 – Run, Run, Run ft Deno – PRODUCED BY IPRODUCE1

Day 4 of my 100-day challenge of self-rediscovering myself in my journey in music. For 100 days I will be releasing an original song of mind. These will be songs from the past, present, and future projects. As well as unreleased and collaboration material over the course of the last 10 years. I am 26 presently so you will be able to hear my growth. Many unreleased songs are first and only recordings and poorly mixed and mastered if at all.

I will be posting lyrics as well.

Song: Run, Run, Run Ft. Deno (Produced by IProduce1)

Year: 2012

Age 22

Project: Unreleased

Audio:

Lyrics:

Chorus: Deno

singing the same song

stop singing the same song

Better run run run

Move with your heart

And soon you’ll become one with the stars/

Verse 1: Mr. Composition

My ear to streets my heart in the music/

A prisoner in the place I thought freedom was in it/

what I thought was an hour is really a minute/

Tried to paint a masterpiece but it wasn’t as vivid/

Cuz it wasn’t from my heart but rather something to mimic/

Following the footsteps of those who followed a gimic/

A product of surrounding stuck at the city limit/

No wonder the reach is that of a midget/

Cuz Everybodys trying to be a hero for their hometown/

But they never break out, they just break down/

Fighting over a cursed throne

yahll can keep the crown/

mr comp silent assassin make moves without a sound/

watch and learn/

from those who crash and burn/

Failed had they turn/

And see what went wrong/

So I don’t do the same/

look for someone to blame/

Shower in my own pain/

Singing the same song.

Chorus: Deno

singing the same song

stop singing the same song

Better run run run

Move with your heart

And soon you’ll become one with the stars/

DAY 3 OF 100 – ANY DAY NOW – PRODUCED BY PROGENY

Day 3 of my 100-day challenge of self-rediscovering myself in my journey in music.

I will be posting lyrics as well for my parts of the songs because I own those.

Song: Any Day Now (Produced by Progeny)

Year: 2016

Age 25

Project: Nightmare Before Sunrise

Audio:

Lyrics:

Chorus: Mr. Composition
Listen for the sound of the lost cause/
Scream out with locked jaws/
The journeys neverending for the pending
I don’t know when i don’t know how
but it’s coming soon any day now /

Verse 1: Mr. Composition
These faded thoughts never felt so sober/
Writing to detox even when the feeling is closer
Yea the feeling is closer/ don’t want to feel when it’s over/
my passion is burning it won’t diminish or smolder/
death is blooming colder dropping toxic in my Mudvayne/
This cold rain feels like fire to the king of pain/
Something coming and I see it through the blurry aim/
keep it moving, move in silence like a haunted cane/
not paranoid just prepping for the things to come/
The test of time will decide if I stand or run/
herd it all before they say change will come/
Success or trouble I’m expecting either one/
it’s to the point when I sleep i see the stage presence /
Pray to the heaven till my lungs are breathless/
Watch the movement faith in everything I vow/
And it’s coming soon any day now/
Chorus: Mr. Composition
Listen for the sound of the lost cause/
Scream out with locked jaws/
The journeys neverending for the pending
I don’t know when i don’t know how
but it’s coming soon any day now /

Verse 2: Mr. Composition
The long walker, word stalker/
Dr Jekyll went to Hyde and came back a monster/
could’ve been a product of the morning after/
Instead channeled my anger/
the taken than became the taker/
No angels in the outfield but angels on the corner/
cuz the devil gets bitter when he sees your doing better/
Couple of like minds stay on top like a header/
no comedy central but we stay drawn together/
I wouldn’t put this much time and effort in a hobby/
I’m tryna see the world I’m tryna move somebody/
I’m a profit rewritten the prostheses/
Jay made some new rules I’m adding some policies/
Dreaming with my peoples tryna get these fantasies/
writing making ripples through planets and galaxies/
I see where i want to be and I know how/
and its coming soon any day now

Chorus: Mr. Composition
Listen for the sound of the lost cause/
Scream out with locked jaws/
The journeys neverending for the pending
I don’t know when i don’t know how
but it’s coming soon any day now /
